Lori Johansen is the head trainer and rider here at Windover. You will find Lori on a Horse or Teaching,. Lori enjoys teaching many levels but focuses on the Competitive Horse& Rider program.  Lori specializes in building up  Hunter/Jumpers, starting young horses and has experience training and showing Western/ Ranch horses. . Her list of mentors is long and Lori is constantly continuing her education in her Riding and Coaching. Lori puts a strong traditional emphasis on her Horsemanship in her programs (and it shows) and is always encouraging the riders/horses here at Windover to work as a team. Windover’s competitive riders enjoy Success in our Day to day Program and Shows attended.  Lori is a Certified/Insured Equestrian Canada Competition Coach – NCCP and in the process of completing her canTRA. Lori is happy to prep/test Riders for their Equine Canada Rider Levels.

Jade is our Assistant Rider/Coach who’s main focus in our program is teaching our riders in our Learn To Ride Program. Jade is patient and kind instructor and takes her time with every horse/Rider she works with. Jade has a love for solid horsemanship skills, spotless tack, and is always seeking any type of horsey education to improve herself. Jade puts lots of riding miles on many horses in between lessons 🙂 Experience  in Hunter/Jumper/Equation ring, Eventing and Gymkhanas and Cowboy up Challenges. Jade is gearing up for the 2020 Show Season. Jade has successfully Completed her Equine Canada Rider Levels 1-8 and St. Johns First Aid.

Horse/Facility Care

Ted has been a resident on the ranch for the past 10 years and has over 25 years in the farrier industry and manages our feeding program.Ted is an imperative person to our program here at Windover and you will always find him working on  something and checking on the horses with his 2 dogs alongside him.
